Richmond Central Football Netball Club seeks a passionate senior football coach for season 2018.

2017 senior coach, Shannon Collins has had to step aside due to a promotion with Collingwood FC, which will require weekend commitments and he is therefore unavailable to coach in 2018. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Shannon for the fantastic job that he did for the club in such a short time and wish him best of luck in his new job.

Our club had a positive year in 2017 which saw our senior side finish just out of finals and our reserves make the grand final. We also had a large influx of new players from both higher level VAFA teams and country football, which is an annual occurrence at our club, due to our location.

We are seeking to appoint a senior coach who will bring energy and passion to the role. Our ideal candidate is someone that is looking to develop their coaching career over a number of years at an emerging community club.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

  • A passion for driving a strong and inclusive culture
  • Excellent communication skills both on and off the field
  • A strong desire to teach and develop players
  • A positive and energetic attitude
  • An understanding of modern football tactics

We have a fantastic culture which sees us in a strong position to retain the majority of our list this year and given the large number of new players we attract, this gives us great optimism as to what can achieve in 2018 with our 3 football sides.

The right candidate will have the full support of the club and given significant autonomy over the football department in order to drive sustainable success. We offer competitive remuneration which can be negotiated.

Please send applications or enquiries no later than the 20th of October to:
